Now HERE'S a big one!

We've met some interesting charactors since we've been here, and one of the more fascinating is a giant of a man by the name of Dan Benish. Now Dan has been working here at the strip in a variety of jobs...just filling in time, and we met him through Mark during a sanding session in the barn.

Dan was a member of the Washington Redskins team that beat the Denver Broncos at the Super Bowl XX11 Championships in 1987. This may all seem a little double dutch to Warriors and All Black fans, but the Super Bowl is HUGE over here. The REALLY interesting thing is that each member of the team gets awarded a "Super Bowl Championship Ring". I would dearly love to give you all the statistics on the rings, but time does not allow that at the moment as it's 1.45a.m., so you'll just have to find out for yourself if you are interested. Surfice to say the ring is pretty damn spectacular and contains pure diamonds of impressive carats, as well as lots of rubies. They're pure gold and as heavy as hell. Guess you have to be giants to be able to wear the things.
